Our goal with treatment is cumulative benefit. One round of acupuncture is 6-8 treatments 1-2 times a week. Since every body responds to acupuncture differently I'd like to see you once a week for 3-4 weeks before I can give a more acurate projection of progress.

Currently we can bill UMR, UHC, Surest, and select Medica plans. It's important to call your insurance company to verify benefits.

The key differences between "dry needling" and acupuncture are education, experience, and needle retention.

"Dry needling" is just one technique acupuncturists learn in our 4+ years of postgraduate education that uses trigger points to release specific tight muscles. In recent years other professionals have taken much shorter continuing education courses, some as short as 54 hours, to place acupuncture needles in patients.
